In a series of projections that run the length of the gallery\u2019s corridor, these\u00a0discarded vessels are hit, rolled and crushed, forming a lively sound track that echoes throughout the space.<\/em><\/span><em><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/em>\u00a0[<a href=\"londonsinfonietta.org.uk\" target=\"_blank\">londonsinfonietta.org.uk<\/a>]<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Thurston Moore<\/strong> is one of those musicians who treat a guitar like an appliance of primitive and unconventional noise. For <strong>Sonic Youth\u00b4s<\/strong> former frontman, a guitar is not an instrument that plays ordinary pieces and melodic structures coming out of well-studied pentagrams. For the legend of the American underground, this <em>machine<\/em> is a device that explores the unlimited possibilities of the drone, feedback and\u00a0distortion. With the guidance of <strong>Moore\u00b4s<\/strong> sensitivity, and the support\u00a0of pedals and even drum sticks hitting the body of the guitar, the\u00a0performance at the White Cube in South East London becomes an unconventional experience full of cinematic passages.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A guitar resonating and being tapped by wooden drum sticks. Strident\u00a0feedback. The plucking of strings on his Fender behind the bridge and above the neck of a guitar with a\u00a0psychedelic strap that states &#8220;<em>Rebellion of Joy&#8221;,\u00a0<\/em>while the <strong>London Sinfonietta<\/strong> \u2013 a four ensemble of classically trained musicians\u00a0composed by violin, cello, clarinet and percussion joins the avant-garde-like and experimental delight of Moore\u00b4s cinematic\u00a0trip.
