Imperativo para entender las ra\u00edces del punk, el hard rock, el metal y el grunge, as\u00ed como el papel del rock urgente e implacable en la cultura popular.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Despu\u00e9s de dos LP&#8217;s imperativos (<i>The Stooges <\/i>(1969) y <i>Fun House <\/i>(1970)) y con una carrera en picada debido a problemas internos, malos manejos, drogadicci\u00f3n y falta de reconocimiento comercial,\u00a0<strong>Iggy<\/strong> <strong>Pop,\u00a0<\/strong>y su adicci\u00f3n a la hero\u00edna, separan temporalmente a <strong>The<\/strong> <strong>Stooges<\/strong> para replantear un proyecto adelantado a sus tiempos.<\/p>\n<h5 style=\"text-align: center;\">There&#8217;s nothing in my dreams<br \/>\nJust some ugly memories<br \/>\nKiss me like the ocean breeze<\/h5>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En busca de exposici\u00f3n medi\u00e1tica m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de Detroit, <strong>Iggy<\/strong> <strong>Pop<\/strong> viaja a Nueva York y se encara con <strong>Tony<\/strong> <strong>Defries<\/strong> (a cargo de la compa\u00f1\u00eda MainMan) y <strong>David<\/strong> <strong>Bowie,\u00a0<\/strong>que estaba de visita para pisar el suelo de algunos de sus h\u00e9roes y\u00a0empaparse\u00a0de lo que se estaba gestando en Nueva York para terminar de dar forma a su alter ego,\u00a0<strong>Ziggy<\/strong> <strong>Stardust.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Max&#8217;s Kansas City<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El m\u00edtico club neoyorquino <strong>Max&#8217;s Kansas City\u00a0<\/strong>sirvi\u00f3 de pre\u00e1mbulo para que <strong>Iggy\u00a0Pop<\/strong> y <strong>David\u00a0Bowie<\/strong> comenzaran con una de las alianzas m\u00e1s subversivas e influyentes en la m\u00fasica popular, mancuerna que se extender\u00eda por d\u00e9cadas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Despu\u00e9s de una conversaci\u00f3n en el club, <strong>Iggy Pop<\/strong> es invitado a Londres por <strong>Bowie<\/strong> y <strong>Defries<\/strong> para redefinir el sonido y obtener mayor exposici\u00f3n comercial. A petici\u00f3n de <strong>Iggy Pop<\/strong>, se une <strong>James Williamson<\/strong>, segundo guitarrista de la era post <em>Fun House<\/em> que contaba con un sonido m\u00e1s directo y crudo.
