\"prince<\/a>Legendario el concierto de Prince<\/b> en Ronnie Scott\u00b4s.<\/i>\u00a0 El m\u00e1s \u00edntimo hasta el momento de la incre\u00edble gira llamada Hit & Run Tour<\/i> en Londres con alrededor de 200 afortunados y devotos que hicieron fila por m\u00e1s de 12 horas y una lista de invitados de la talla de Noel Gallagher, Adele, Nile Rodgers, Stephen Fry <\/b>y Kate Moss.<\/b><\/p>\n

Sentado en los teclados, el geniecillo p\u00farpura demostr\u00f3 su indiscutible talento para brillar con un set totalmente diferente a lo que ha ido ofreciendo. Su capacidad \u00fanica para reinventarse a s\u00ed mismo con un show que toc\u00f3 pasajes que iban del jazz, soul y funk en varios de sus cl\u00e1sicos, confirm\u00f3 (una vez m\u00e1s) el genio indiscutible de Prince.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Soho fue uno de los epicentros art\u00edsticos de Londres y el mundo que, desde mediados del siglo XVIII, atrajo a artistas, poetas, travestis, prostitutas, m\u00fasicos y pensadores libres para que crearon esa atm\u00f3sfera bohemia en la zona. Y a pesar de mucho ha cambiado, todav\u00eda hay algunos lugares y rincones que conservan la buena historia. Uno de ellos es: Ronnie Scott\u00b4s.<\/i><\/p>\n

\"la<\/a><\/i>Ronnie Scott\u00b4s<\/i> es un club lleno de misticismo, decadencia bohemia y un lugar que suda por sus paredes historia, trabajo y arte. Es uno de los mejores clubs de jazz del mundo y uno de los lugares m\u00e1s legendarios de Londres. De Nina Simone , Curtis Mayfield , Ella Fitzgerald,\u00a0<\/b>Miles Davis , Louis Armstrong <\/b>y Glenn Miller.<\/b> Todos los grandes tocaron aqu\u00ed.<\/p>\n

Con las luces de ne\u00f3n y carteles que anuncian la larga lista de conciertos; con la antigua casa hist\u00f3rica de Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart<\/b> justo en frente del club para hacer este sitio a\u00fan m\u00e1s ecl\u00e9ctico; y con una lluviosa noche por encima de nosotros que est\u00e1bamos a la espera de que el mago p\u00farpura diera uno de sus shows m\u00e1s \u00edntimos. Esta era una noche para recordar.<\/p>\n

Doce horas de fila saca lo mejor y lo peor de la gente. Es interesante como experimento social ver c\u00f3mo las personas se conectan entre s\u00ed despu\u00e9s de un tiempo tan largo. Personas de diferentes partes del mundo; cerveza y vino; cigarros; s\u00e1ndwiches baratos y peleas dentro de la multitud como consecuencia de la tensi\u00f3n, la ira, el hambre, el fr\u00edo y el agotamiento. Pero todos con el mismo objetivo: entrar a <\/span>Ronnie Scott\u00b4s<\/i> y ser parte \u2013 al menos por una hora o m\u00e1s – de la historia.<\/span><\/p>\n

Alrededor de la medianoche, las puertas finalmente se abrieron. El sax de Marcus Anderson <\/b>y Prince <\/b>sentado en los teclados y sintetizadores en lugar de tomar la guitarra, dejaba claro que esta noche era diferente. No iba a haber jams desquiciantes y solos que te remontan a lo mejor de\u00a0Hendrix\u00a0<\/b>como en los otros conciertos. Esto era m\u00e1s \u00edntimo y era el momento para rendir homenaje con un setlist diferente a un recinto que le ha dado tanto a la m\u00fasica que s\u00ed vale la pena.<\/p>\n

Casi 10 minutos coqueteando con el \u00a0jazz \u00a0seguido de piezas como “Liathacth” y la in\u00e9dita “Shade Of Umber” y Prince<\/strong> no dec\u00eda una palabra ni cantaban una sola nota hasta que un solo de blues a cargo de Donna Grantis<\/strong> explot\u00f3 en una versi\u00f3n desgarradora del cl\u00e1sico de 1987 \u201cI Could Naver Take The Place Of Your Man”, seguido de otro sax que condujo a “Beautiful Strange” con la voz de Prince<\/strong> en su mejor momento. Era como si el genio de Marvin Gaye, Sam Cooke <\/b>o Al Green<\/b> rodeaba el escenario en un extra\u00f1o e irrepetible momento de historia.<\/p>\n

El set continu\u00f3 para rendir homenaje al funk con un par de tributos a Bill Withers <\/strong>y Sly & The Family<\/strong> Stone.<\/strong> \u00bfLos llevamos de vuelta a los 80?”, dijo el geniecillo p\u00farpura para dar paso a un medley de cl\u00e1sicos que incluy\u00f3 “Take Me With You”, “Raspberry Beret ” y ” Cool\u201d.<\/p>\n

En primer encore consisti\u00f3 en canciones m\u00e1s personales de Prince<\/strong>: “Do Me, Baby” con un falsete y otro piano desgarrador que condujeron a otro medley con cl\u00e1sicos como “Diamonds and Pearls “, “The Beautiful Ones”, \u201cThe Most Beautiful Girl In The World” y \u00a0“How Come U Don\u00b4t Call Me Anymore\u201d.<\/p>\n

La brillante “Something In The Water (Does Not Compute)” de 1982; un cover a The Waterboys<\/strong> y “Purple Rain”, pusieron fin a la legendaria noche cuando Prince<\/strong> dijo la frase que esper\u00e1bamos pero no dese\u00e1bamos: \u201ctenemos otros miembros de la familia que quieren entrar pero gracias a todos. Buenas noches”\u00a0<\/em>y eso fue todo. 80 minutos del maestro sentado en los teclados ofreciendo un concierto para una multitud exhausta\u00a0como s\u00edntesis que recuerda la importancia de la m\u00fasica negra.<\/p>\n

Uno de los artistas m\u00e1s sensibles de todos los tiempos. Un genio, una estrella. Un artista que puede tocar y crear cualquier tipo de m\u00fasica sin sentirse incomodo. Prince<\/strong> es algo que no podemos comprender.<\/p>\n
